$300 / 7 week session

Adult pottery classes include 12 pounds (1 bag) of clay, glazing, and firing*. Additional clay can be purchased from the studio as needed. Students are encouraged to purchase their own starter pack. Tools are available at the studio for purchase. Please note oversized pieces will be subjected to firing fees.

Our adult pottery class is perfect for potters of all ranges, from the very beginner to the more experienced. Classes are open level, meaning students learn at their own space within a group of students who have varying levels of experience. On the first day of class, the instructor will acquaint all students with the basics of throwing pottery on a high-powered wheel. Throughout the course, students can expect to develop skills in throwing, trimming, hand building, glazing, and more throughout the 7-week session. Students seeking a beginner experience are encouraged to register for either Thursday afternoon or evening as those two sections are designated to cater to our new potters. Students will gain an appreciation of the firing process, learn to care for their tools, and properly clean their stations when class is through.

Slip, Sip, and Score – $130 per couple

Couples welcome!! Join us at Studio E for our couple’s pottery experience. Clay-time, snacks and mocktails included. These meet Saturdays from 6:15 pm to 8:30 pm. Watch for dates on the Web. This will truly be a hands-on bonding experience – mixed with making some cool pieces from clay. It can get a little messy over here, but don’t worry, we provide aprons to keep it mostly clean. So put those hands to good use, and join us for “Sip, Slip, and Score” for a date night guaranteed to get those wheels turning.
