DESCRIPTION
In this weekly 90-minute 7 week class students will learn the basics of throwing on a pottery wheel. Students will toggle between hand building and wheel stations, learning the necessary skills of pottery. Trimming and glazing techniques will be incorporated into the session as well as an appreciation for the process of kiln firing.
This class is geared towards parents/familiy members who have been wanting to do a pottery class with their children. All skill levels are welcome, but due to the inclusive age range it will be catered toward beginer pottery students. This class will allow use of the pottery wheel. Due to safety, all students must be at least 10 years old to be permitted to use the pottery wheel. The $475 registration fee includes 1 adult (18+) and 1 child (10-17) participating. If you are seeking to have a second adult or child join your reservation the add on for a 3rd person is $225.
