Studio E welcomes our newest teacher, Esther Marie as the instructor  for this series. Esther Marie has a MFA in painting from LIU, a BFE from Stony Brook and is an accomplished painter and watercolorist!

Learn at your own pace. Esther Marie will design weekly group projects, demonstrating and elaborating on new watercolor techniques each week. Focuses will include nature, still lifes, copying photographs and more! Students will have the freedom to go in their own directions in this class, as they become more comfortable with the techniques. Classes will include time for discussion and critique at the end of each class, as this helps each artist grow artistically and fosters community with the group.

Studio E warmly welcomes Kat Kaiser as the instructor for this class. Kat has been teaching with us since 2014 and has an MFA in painting from SUNY Stony Brook.

This class will incorporate techniques in acrylic, tempera and watercolor. Kat will give students weekly warm up exercises to  help loosen up. Each week, Kat will touch on a theme for the group, but students will have the freedom to go in their own individual artistic directions throughout the course. Kat will help students find their artistic voice and value their individuality through painting. Classes will include time for discussion and critique at the end of each class, as this helps each artist grow artistically and fosters community with the group.
